Police seek fiancé after woman chopped to death in Clarendon
A 46-year-old woman was chopped to death during a reported domestic incident in May Pen, Clarendon, early Monday morning, the police say.
The woman has been identified as Jennifer Williamson, a caregiver of a Glenmuir Drive address.
The police say her spouse is the main suspect.
Reports from the police are that about 12:03 a.m., Williamson was at home when she was attacked and chopped, sustaining multiple wounds.
She was found suffering from injuries and later pronounced dead.
The May Pen Criminal Investigation Branch are probing the matter.
As at February 7, the Clarendon police division recorded one murder, a 75 per cent reduction when compared to the similar period last year.
