One killed, three injured in Manchester crash

Three people remain hospitalised this morning following a motor vehicle crash along the Melrose Bypass in Manchester yesterday.



One man identified only as Dave Marks was killed on the spot.



Marks, believed to be in his late twenties, was thrown from the car on impact.



The injured are: Jabari Holness, Lanalini Banhan, an employee of Mayberry Investments and Amanda Russell a student from Florida in the United States.



Holness, who was driving a white Honda Civic motor car sustained multiple injuries to the upper part of his body.



The female passengers suffered broken arms and other fractures.



The crash brought traffic along the Melrose Bypass to a halt for hours while the Mandeville Fire Brigade and the police removed the victims.



The police were unable to determine the cause of the accident.
