Commonwealth Games 2018 | Three Jamaicans in men's 400m final

All three Jamaicans progressed to the men's 400m final at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia at the Carrara Stadium on Monday. 

Javon Francis, 45.38 seconds, was the pick of the lot and goes in with the second fastest time, after running behind Isaac Makwala, 45.00, of Botswana, for a second place finish in their semi-final. 

National record holder Rusheen McDonald, 45.77, also finished second in his semi-final, while Demish Gaye, 45.85, was third in his semi, but advanced as one of two non-automatic qualifiers. 

The men's 400m final will take place at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
