Man dies after being hit by tree in St Mary

The police in St Mary are investigating the death of a man who died after a tree fell on him.
He has been identified as 50-year-old labourer Kalphat Hugo of the Belfield district in the parish.
Reports are that at about 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Hugo was hit by a falling tree and sustained severe injuries.
He was assisted to the Port Maria Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Belfield police are investigating the matter.
