PM travels to New York for official business
Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness has departed the country for New York, USA on official duties.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister says Holness will be away from Thursday, December 4, to Saturday, December 6.
Details were not provided.
During the Prime Minister's absence, Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, will be in charge of the Government.
Deputy Prime Minister Dr Horace Chang, who is also the Minister of National Security and Peace, is currently out of office recovering from an "elective procedure" conducted over the last weekend.
No details were provided on the nature of the procedure.
Chang’s portfolio has been temporarily assumed by Holness.
