Road works reduce traffic on Marcus Garvey Drive

Transport Minister, Mike Henry said improvement work on Marcus Garvey is continuing to reduce the traffic flow on the roadway.



Mr. Henry said the existing two lanes will be widened into a six-lane highway, and other significant changes will be made to the roadway.



French construction company Bouygues, the developers of Highway 2000, has been awarded the contract to expand the Marcus Garvey Drive, as well as sections of Spanish Town Road.
