DNA to identify crash victim
The authorities in Spain say DNA tests will be needed to identify many of the 153 people killed in a plane crash yesterday.
They say many victims were so badly burned that fingerprint and other identification will be impossible.
The crash at Madrid\'s Barajas Airport is Spain\'s worst air disaster in decades.
Rescue worker Ergivio Corral said it was difficult to distinguish that there was an aircraft there, apart from the remains of the tail.
The city\'s convention centre has since been turned into a makeshift morgue, since its the only building in the capital large enough to store the remains.
19 people survived the crash.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, but Spanair spokesman Javier Mendoza said flight data recorders, commonly known as the black boxes, had been recovered.
