WIPA launched 2020 competition

The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) yesterday launched a regional 20/20 club championship at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port- of-Spain.
The winner of the tournament is guaranteed TT$1 million, while the runner-up will collect TT$300,000.
President of WIPA, Dinanath Ramnarine made the announcement yesterday at a Press Conference.
Ramnarine said 12 teams would compete for the top prize.
Seven of the teams will come from T&T, one each from Barbados, St. Kitts, Dominica, Guyana and a regional WIPA Masters Eleven.
The games will be played at Guaracara Park in Pointe-a-Pierre from May 2 to 11.
