J’can sprint Queen to compete at Reebok Grand Prix

Jamaican sprint queen Veronica Campbell Brown is down to compete at the Reebok Grand Prix in New York City on Saturday, May 31.



Campbell-Brown, the reigning Olympic 200-metre champion, will face off with American Lauryn Williams in the 100 metres.



Both athletes will meet for the first time since last year’s World Championships in Osaka, Japan.



At the World Championships, Campbell-Brown took the 100 metre gold medal in a blanket finish with Williams.



Campbell-Brown and Williams crossed the line in 11.01 seconds.
