Jamaica U15 Boyz face Portugal in Tier B playoffs

Jamaica’s Under-15 Reggae Boyz will face Portugal on Wednesday as they begin the Tier B playoffs at the FIFA Under-15 World Cup and Festival in Azerbaijan.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:45 am Jamaica time.

Teams in Tier B will compete for final positions between 33rd and 64th place. A victory would guarantee Jamaica a finish no lower than 48th, while defeat would see the young Reggae Boyz compete for positions 49th to 64th.

Jamaica finished second in Group AB behind Czech Republic after suffering their only defeat of the group stage against the European team.

The result means Jamaica can finish no higher than 33rd in the tournament.
