Former champions Mona and Wolmer’s Boys will clash in today’s top of the table Zone E showdown in the ISSA/WATA Manning Cup competition at Mico University, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Mona, who last lifted the title in 2023, lead the group with six points from two games, edging Wolmer’s on goal difference. The Craig Butler-coached Mona have scored 13 goals while conceding just once, while Wolmer’s have netted nine goals without conceding.

They are followed in the standings by Dunoon Park on four points, Calabar and Hillel on three each, Ascot on one, and Pembroke Hall and Meadowbrook without a point.

Meanwhile, defending champions Kingston College (KC) will be aiming for their fourth win of the season when they host Jose Marti in their Zone B encounter at North Street. The Vassell Reynolds-coached KC are tied atop the zone with Tivoli Gardens on nine points, though Tivoli hold a superior goal difference. They are followed by Haile Selassie and Tarrant on four points each, Charlie Smith and Jose Marti on three apiece, with Denham Town and Kingston Technical yet to register a point.

Over in Zone C, red-hot Vauxhall High, coached by Kyle Butler, the son of Mona’s head coach Craig Butler, will be seeking their third straight win when they host Edith Dalton James. Vauxhall, who have been impressive so far this season, are tied at the top with Jamaica College and St Andrew Technical on six points. They are followed by Camperdown High on three, Spanish Town High and Greater Portmore High on one each, and Edith Dalton James High and St Mary’s College, also on one apiece.

In the meantime, yesterday’s fixture between Norman Manley and Eltham was abandoned after 64 minutes due to heavy rain and lightning, with Eltham leading 2-0. The games between Clan Carthy High and Papine High, Dunoon Park High and Calabar High, and Jonathan Grant High and Excelsior High were also called off due to the weather. Excelsior were leading Jonathan Grant 2-0 midway through the second half when play was halted.
