Reid scores four as Glenmuir hammer Tacky 8-0

Attacking midfielder David Reid scored four goals and assisted with two, to lead Glenmuir to an 8-0 mauling of Tacky High in the second leg of their second-round ISSA/Digicel daCosta Cup encounter at Glenmuir High today.

The win allowed the Andrew Peart-coached Glenmuir to advance to the round of 16 following a 10-1 aggregate win.

Reid began his brilliant outing with his first strike in the 26th minute before getting his second in the 32nd. The wiry winger scored his hat-trick in the 61st minute before rounding out his four-timer three minutes later.

Reid was also instrumental in the two goals scored by substitute Jhovaughn Boyd who got his double in the 68th and 82nd minutes.

The other scorers for Glenmuir were Zakari Messam and Oniel Hedley.
