Commonwealth Games 2018 | Sharpe finishes 22nd in Triathlon

Seventeen year-old Jamaican Llori Sharpe finished 22nd in the women's triathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia on Wednesday (Jamaica time).
Sharpe, a student at St Andrew High School for Girls, registered a combined time of 1:11.58 at the Southport Broadwater Parklands, as Bermudian Flora Duffy won gold in 56:50 minutes. England's Jessica Learmonth took the silver in 57:33 with the bronze medal going to Canada's Joanna Brown in 57:38.
The Jamaican clocked 11:45 in her 750m swim, 36:39 on her 20km bike ride and 22:06 on her 5km run, during the competition that included 24 competitors.
This event produced the first medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
