THE CARIBBEAN Shipping Association (CSA) has launched registration for its 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Conference & Exhibition scheduled for St Maarten from October 7-8, 2024.

Industry leaders and decision-makers will assemble at the JW Marriott St Maarten Beach Resort and Spa for the CSA’s year-end conference, a critical platform for the regional maritime community. Over two days, attendees will engage in discussions on key issues impacting the region’s shipping sector, including industry trends, regulations, technological advancements, environmental considerations, and more.

Hosted by Port St Maarten, the conference offers a valuable opportunity for networking with peers, exchanging knowledge, and participating in strategic planning discussions. The agenda will explore critical topics shaping the future of Caribbean shipping, including creating a resilient supply chain; the future of maritime operations; the cruise industry; decarbonisation; and cybersecurity.

Early-bird registration for the CSA AGM is available until August 30, with discounted rates for CSA members and observers. Registration details, including fees and a link to register, can be found on the CSA’s website, caribbeanshipping.org.

Special rates have been negotiated for conference attendees at the JW Marriott St Maarten Beach Resort and Spa, and two additional nearby properties – Dawn Beach Club Resort and Oyster Bay Beach Resort.

Complimentary airport transfers will be provided to and from Princess Juliana International Airport for delegates and their spouses attending the conference.
