Police seeking man as part of probe into JUTC bus fire

The police are seeking a man in connection with a case of arson aboard a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus.
The police report that about 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, the man boarded a JUTC bus at South Parade in downtown Kingston, bound for Spanish Town.
It is further reported that upon reaching the Spanish Town bus park, he ignited an object and left it in front of the seat he had occupied before disembarking the bus.
A few moments later, the bus was engulfed in flames.
Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the man is being asked to contact the police’s Specialized Investigation Branch at 876-922-7953, the police emergency number 119, or the nearest police station.
