Wang Yi, minister of foreign affairs of the People’s Republic of China, arrived in Jamaica late Friday night for a three-day visit aimed at building on the bilateral relationship between the two nations. After arriving at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Wang over the weekend engaged in a courtesy call on Prime Minister Andrew Holness, as well as holding a bilateral meeting with Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, Jamaica’s minister of foreign affairs and foreign trade.
