JDF helicopter crashes in St Catherine

A Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) helicopter has crashed in St Catherine.
The JDF's civil military cooperation and media affairs officer Major Basil Jarrett told The Gleaner a short while ago that the helicopter came down in the area of Dunbeholden, which runs between Portmore and Spanish Town.
Jarrett said the pilot, who was the sole occupant, was injured and has been taken to hospital.
He said emergency workers are now at the scene.
