Transport, Works and Housing Minister Dr Omar Davies is to be out of office for a "short while" after being hospitalised over the weekend.
Davies says based on the advice of his doctors, he will be out of office.
"Last week Monday I experienced a brief blackout which necessitated a team of medical personnel carrying out tests. Following the tests, the cause was identified and corrective action taken. I was hospitalised on Saturday followed by my release on Sunday," Davies said in a statement.
During Davies’ absence from office, his ministerial duties are being carried out by Minister without portfolio in the Ministry, Dr. Morais Guy as well as State Minister, Richard Azan.
