Following an electrifying set at the Campari Xodus Tailgate, rising Grenadian artiste V’ghn reflected on his musical journey and what fans can expect for the rest of the carnival season.

The event, held at the car park at the National Stadium on Thursday night, brought together patrons for a high-energy blend of music, food, and personalised tailgate vibes.

Known for his dual strength in songwriting and live performance, V’ghn is focused on one simple but powerful goal this year: balance.

“I’m here to do my part,” he shared, adding, “As everyone else is doing their part, it helps bring balance. I just bring myself, love for the music, energy, vibes, and let God do the rest.”

That authenticity translated on stage, where he was met with an energetic and fully engaged crowd. Performing a slew of songs, including Trouble in the Morning and Heart of Carnival, the moment was both rewarding and overdue for the artiste.

“It’s been a long time coming, way too long,” he admitted. “But yeah, man, good vibes, good energy. Definitely what I expected.”

Beyond the performance, V’ghn also emphasised the importance of understanding the business side of music, something he’s become increasingly vocal about.

“As a creative, everything you create it’s important that you own it, because there’s wealth in ownership.”

As Carnival heats up, V’ghn has highlighted Jab Decisions as the standout track from his catalogue set to lead the season. He says fans can expect consistency in his signature style as he continues performing throughout the festivities.

“I’m coming with the usual high energy, good vibes, love, and good music,” he said. “ Above all, expect to see me out there having fun just like everybody else.”

With a grounded mindset, a growing catalogue, and a clear vision for both artistry and ownership, V’ghn is stepping into carnival 2026 not just as a performer, but as a force helping to shape its sound and spirit.

Tonight the band continues its lead-up events with Campari Xodus Remedy at the National Stadium where Skinny Fabulous will take centre stage.
