The 30-year-old Westmoreland pump attendant accused of setting a woman on fire during an altercation at a gas station in Whithorn has been granted $350,000 bail with one or two sureties.
Collate Swaby is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
She was ordered to surrender her travel documents, and a stop order was imposed.
Swaby is required to report to the Negril Police Station on Wednesdays and Saturdays. She was also instructed by the court not to interfere with the complainant or any witnesses in the case.
The matter is scheduled to return to the parish court in Whithorn on April 16.
The charge against Swaby stems from a February 19 incident at a gas station in Whithorn, when a confrontation developed between her and 40-year-old Dacia Forrester.
Swaby allegedly drenched Forrester with a flammable substance and set her on fire.
She was subsequently arrested and later charged.
