Cash Plus battles with FSC in court

Attorneys for Investment Club, Cash Plus Limited are expected to file an appeal in the Supreme Court today against a cease and desist order issued by the Financial Services Commission (FSC).



Attorney-at-law Bert Samuels said Cash Plus would be seeking to have the court quash the decision of the FSC.



In recent weeks, investors have been experiencing difficulties getting their interest payments from the company. Cash Plus Limited encouraged investors not to withdraw their money.



The investment firm is asking clients to rollover their earnings for the next three months, to allow restructuring of the entity.
