Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is scheduled to pay the outstanding salary deduction for workers to respective third party agencies by the end of the month.

Yesterday, the workers walked off the job leaving hundreds of commuters stranded.

The workers were protesting against the failure of the JUTC to pay over deductions from their salary.

JUTC workers resumed duties late yesterday, after the Ministry of Labour intervened and a back to work formula was reached.

President of the University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU) Lambert Brown said he is expecting full operation today.
