Four policemen who were implicated in the death of a 19-year-old youth in Grants Pen, St Andrew in September are expected in court today to answer to murder charges.

Detective Corporals Noel Bryan, Phillip Dunstan and Detective Constables Omar Miller and Clayton Fearon were each granted bail in the sum of $1 million, when they last appeared in court.

Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Kent Pantry, has charged the policemen with the murder of Andre Thomas following a ruling handed down in October.

Relatives of the teenager reported that the police killed him in cold blood.

According to the police, the teen was killed after he and a group of men engaged them in a shootout.

The policemen were also accused of tampering with the service vehicle, which was used to transport the youth to the hospital.
