CRICKET: WI 'A' need victory to keep ODI series alive

West Indies ‘A’ will try to rebound against Sri Lanka ‘A’ when the teams contest the second One-Day International at the Grenada National Stadium today.
The Caribbean side is trailing the three-match series 1-0 following a four-wicket defeat on Sunday in Grenada.
In the opening match, West Indies ‘A’, electing to bat, scored 282 for nine off their 50 overs and Sri Lanka ‘A’ replied with 287 for six with 20 balls to spare.
Manager of the West Indies ‘A’ team Lockhart Sebastien feels his team’s defeat was due to overconfidence.
The Manager has hinted at changes for today match.
This means that Jamaican fastbowler Sheldon Cottrell and Guyanese left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul could force their way into the team.
In the opening match, Lendl Simmons with 106, Narsingh Deonarine 60 and Kirk Edwards 50 led the West Indies batting.
Jamaican spinner Nikita Miller continued his good form with three wickets.
