People’s National Party (PNP) will be naming a replacement for general secretary, Donald Buchanan, later this month.
PNP Chairman Robert Pickersgill said the replacement would be one of the matters to be decided at the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting scheduled for January 20.
Mr. Buchanan’s resignation took effect on December 31.
Among the persons being named as possible replacements are Dr. D.K Duncan, Horace Dalley, Peter Bunting, Basil Waite and Maureen Webber.
Mr. Pickersgill said the final decision for the likely candidates would be made at the NEC.
