20 killed in Somali capital

At least 20 people were killed after clashes broke out across the Somali capital, Mogadishu.



Officials said dozens of people were also injured during the fighting.



Islamist insurgents have reportedly been engaged in fierce battles with government troops and their Ethiopian allies.



People from both sides have been killed.



Government forces said one of their soldiers had been killed in the clashes in central Mogadishu and another two had also been injured.
