Cyclist, Shot Putter top T&T sports awards

Cyclist Emile Abraham and shot put star Cleopatra Borel-Brown, won the top awards at the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee Gala Awards Ceremony last week-end.
Abraham was named Sportsman of the Year while Borel-Brown took the Sportswoman of the Year award.
The two were among a host of local sports stars honoured for their achievements.
Abraham, who is based in the USA, won a road cycling silver medal at the 2007 Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Borel-Brown also won a bronze medal in Brazil.
