Rebrand non-traditional high schools - Thwaites

Education minister, Ronald Thwaites, says he wants a rebranding of non-traditional high schools.

Thwaites says no school should be called a failure, and has urged Jamaicans to remove the perception that grammar education is more important than technical and vocational competence.

Thwaites was addressing student entrepreneurs, teachers and corporate executives at the ‘I am the Change’ Schools’ Business Expo and Competition held yesterday at The Mona Visitors’ Lodge at the University of the West Indies.
