Police on the hunt for shooter

The police in St Catherine are now searching for a man who opened fire at a police team that was on patrol in the parish yesterday.



The police say a 9mm pistol was seized at the scene of the shooting.



Investigators say checks have revealed that the firearm was stolen at the wake for a senior policeman in Clarendon on Thursday.



According to one investigator, the man being sought was recently convicted for impersonating a police officer.
