Nicholson announces new high commissioner to Nigeria

Minister of Foreign Affairs A.J. Nicholson has announced the appointment of Ann Scott as the new High Commissioner to Nigeria.



This is Scott’s first Head of Mission appointment, as she replaces High Commissioner Robert Miller who was posted to Abuja, Nigeria, in 2008.



Scott is a career diplomat and has, since 2005, been the Deputy Permanent Representative to the Organisation of American States (OAS) in Washington, DC.



Prior to her posting in Washington, DC, Scott was the assistant director of the Caribbean and Americas Department at the ministry’s New Kingston headquarters.
