Holmwood Technical will begin their reply to defending champions St Elizabeth Technical High School’s first innings total of 213 when play resumes this morning in the three-day Grace Headley Cup final at Alpart Sports Club in St Elizabeth.

Rain stopped play five minutes before tea on yesterday’s opening day and denied Holmwood a chance to begin their reply.

Sheldon Samuels top scored for St Elizabeth Technical High School with 78 and Vanfield Bromfield supported well with 68.

Spinner Rohan McKenzie was the most successful bowler for Holmwood with four for 70, while medium pacer Demar Davis had three for 24.

St Elizabeth Technical are searching for their fifth straight title and back-to-back double wins. They have already bagged the Grace Limited Over title.
