Gilles Muller out of US Open

Gilles Muller of Luxembourg has withdrawn from the US Open because of a knee injury.
The 86th-ranked Muller upset Andy Roddick in the first round of the 2005 US Open and reached the quarterfinals at the American Grand Slam tournament last year.
Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay takes Muller\'s spot in the main draw.
The US Open begins August 31.
