Following their impressive six-wicket win over the Leeward Islands in the second round of the West Indies Under-15 tournament on Tuesday, Jamaica will hunt win number two today when they play Guyana in the third round at Treasure Beach Sports Complex, St Elizabeth.

The match-up, one of three on the day, will see Jamaica hoping to build on their commanding performance against the Leewards after falling to defending champions Barbados in their opening match.

Jamaica are currently fifth in the six-team standings on 13.3 points with Guyana fourth on 13.7.

Barbados on top

Barbados, the only unbeaten team, lead the round-robin tournament with 25.7 points, Trinidad and Tobago have 17.7, and the Windward Islands are next with 16.6.

The Leewards, who despite lost their two opening matches, have 1.2 bonus points.

"I am hoping for an improvement in our batting as we are yet to fully perform in that area," said Jamaica coach Carl Brissett.

Elsewhere, Barbados will seek to move one step closer to the title when they face the Windwards at St Elizabeth Technical High School, while Trinidad who lost to Barbados in their last match, will attempt to get their campaign back on track when they play the Leewards at Manley Horne Park.
