The CELKON Mobile Tri-Nation one-day internationals bowl off at Sabina Park today with hosts West Indies and the Sri Lanka seeking the ideal start to what should be a competitive limited-overs series.

The showdown, which is slated to start at 9:30 a.m, is expected to see both teams looking to put behind them their failed campaigns in the just-concluded ICC Champions Trophy in England.

For the West Indies, who were among the favourites heading into the Champions Trophy, the aim will be to get over their preliminary-round exit while the Sri Lankans will look to overcome a loss to eventual champions India in the semi-finals.

The Indians, who defeated hosts England in the Champions Trophy final, are the third team taking part in the Tri-Nation series, which will be played over two legs in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Led by new one-day captain Dwayne Bravo, the West Indies are set to make one change to the team which played to a rain-affected tie with South Africa in their final game of the Champions Trophy.
