Exemplary couples tower isle

And speaking of fabulous people and places, luvs, there's nothing like a little home-grown vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle and humdrum of the city. And when it comes to getting away, there are precious few places like Couples Tower Isle, here in Destination Jamaica, with the style and élan befitting a world-class destination. Dears, we are talking one fabulous resort here, where the living is easy and the service makes you wanna stay as it really does not get any better than waking up, looking out on the wide expanse of the Caribbean Sea on a Sunday, to be greeted with a knock on the door of your suite, with the resort's bellman deli-vering the bible of Jamaican newspapers from 'The Grand Olde Lady of North Street' - The Sunday Gleaner!

Service so fab makes one's stay simply memorable, and then some. So, little wonder that Couples Tower Isle keeps on racking up international awards! Each Couples Resort is a magical symphony of style and service and is an unsurpassed model of the all-inclusive resort, perfected by Issa and boldly designed to incorporate as much national cultural characteristics and regional inspiration to create a harmonic sense of nature and authentic Jamaican spirit. Little wonder that the resort chain enjoys one of the best repeat businesses in the industry.

Couples Tower Isle copped the top award at Virgin Holidays 'Awards of Excellence' 2011, beating all its competitors for the coveted Gold Award for Best Hotel in the Caribbean and Mexico, CEO of Couples Resort, Glenn Lawrence, collecting the award (read more on D4). And still speaking of fabulous places and happening people, executive chef Mark Cole, formerly of Hedonism III, is now at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

Former Miss Universe, the still stunning and leggy Wendy Fitzwilliam of Trinidad and Tobago, jetted into the island recently for a few days of R&R, and was spotted over in Ocho Rios before taking leave of our shores. And it seems that the New Year's Eve celebrations and all other major social shindigs around that time are now on hold, pending the post-election climate.
