Not many people get the opportunity to celebrate many milestones at one time but, on Saturday, July 23, Nigel Davy, energy consultant/power-plant developer and his wife, Jennifer, did just that. They rolled her homecoming and birthday, plus his birthday and their 19th wedding anniversary, into one grand celebration at their West Armor Heights residence, and many family members and friends were only too happy to join in.

The festivities were held by the black, red and gold-decorated pool area that commanded a breathtaking view of the city below. Host Nigel welcomed his guests and thanked them for always sharing his annual birthday celebration and making the trip for the combined affair. He urged everyone to sign the pledge forms for the JN Literacy Foundation for its Jamaica Partnership for Education project. These special donations were being made in lieu of gifts.

Dr Arthur Geddes blessed the meal and cake before the couple and their son Kyle cut both cakes - one for the anniversary and the other to surprise him for his upcoming birthday.

Top Chef catered a scrumptious repast that included grilled chicken in cranberry sauce, jerked pork with mango chutney, rice pilaf, herbed potatoes and escoveitched fish. Everyone danced the night away.
