GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Caribbean took guests back in time to show them the future.

The Roaring '20s was a time when the skirts were short, the feathers were in the hair and swing was in. And GSK used that theme to launch their latest innovative product, Sensodyne Pronamel, at the Courtleigh Auditorium on Tuesday.

The toothpaste is specially created to treat the increasingly growing problem of acid wear. Dr Sandra Fernandez, a specialist in dental care, explained that acid wear softens the enamel of your teeth which, of course, can damage your pearly whites. And since Jamaicans love to smile so much, that's quite frankly a no-no!

Dr Fernandez explained how Sensodyne Pronamel rehardens the enamel and brings back the minerals that would have been lost. She also took questions from the many dental-care physicians who came out to learn about the product.

But this wasn't just some dental lesson. Warren Harris' band churned out the jazzy sounds of that era and, since the launch took the form of a movie premiere, that meant the good old popcorn was out. But there were also lots of fruits and vegetables, and, naturally, GSK products promoting wellness.

During the presentation, there was even a comedic take on the thing as MC Simone Clarke-Cooper introduced Mickey Molar, whose 'testimony' at using Sensodyne Pronamel had guests cracking up.
