Rotary fun day, a success
The PICTURESQUE landscape of the Hayfield Country Club in Ewarton, St Catherine was the ideal setting for the Rotary Club of St Andrew North's all-inclusive family fun day, in Ewarton, St Catherine, recently.
Choice Disco provided the day's music for the more than 500 patrons who turned out for the annual family event.
The day's activities included: hula hoop contest, three-legged race, musical chairs, lime and spoon race, and three-a-side football competition.
Not to be left out, the children enjoyed playing with the clown, face-painting, monkey bars, swing and slides.
"I'm happy with today's turn-out," said David T. Brown, president of Rotary of St Andrew North.
"This event is the main fund-raiser for our club and proceeds will be donated to charity," he said.
A toddler, with painted face, expressed her delight of the occasion.
"This is the best day ever. I love the swings," said five-year-old Arian Chin.
"This is the best day ever," she added.
Sponsors of the event included Jamaica Broilers Group; Rib Kage, Grace and Mapco.
