Godfrey's big surprise
It took Montego Bay businessman Godfrey Dyer's favourite food, curried chicken, to get him to a surprise birthday party hosted by his friends Percy and Murine Clarke last Thursday evening at their home at Coral Gardens, St James.
Some 12 friends of the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) chairman tricked him into attending the intimate soirée.
"They know my weakness is curry, so without giving me an inkling of what they had planned, Murine Clarke said she was inviting me over for curried chicken," Dyer admitted to Outlook.
But best of all, his wife Odette, sons Derrick, Gary and Andrew were part of the scheme.
The friends who turned out included Johnny and Lee-Anne Gourzong, Robert and Beverly Russell, George Thomas and Andrea Lyle, Dr John Gordon and wife Yvonne and doctors Soe Naung and wife Thwe.
