What better way to arrive for your 60th birthday bash than atop a 1951 MG TD - owned by classic-car collector Victor Dixon Jr! That is exactly what Mandeville businessman Trevor Heaven did on Sunday, November 7, when his wife Claudine laid out an unforgettable soirée for him at the popular Manchester Club.

The event took the form of a brunch, and Claudine spared no expense. Food stations positioned beneath tents were laden with an extensive array of dishes (some cooked on spot) and catered by Galloping Gourmet - one the finest in Mandeville. The seafood station was manned by Little Ochie's Evrol 'Blackie' Christian, who served lobster, garlic shrimp, peppered shrimp, jerked fish, fried fish and oysters in abundance.

On show were classic cars, including a 1926 Chevy, 1973 Jaguar sport and a 1951 MG sports car, part of Victor Dixon Jr's collection. He also was on hand to show them off. Libations flowed and guests from overseas as well as across the island had a grand time. Music for the party was by Mandeville's Xanadu Disco.
