Last piece of heaven!

WESTERN BUREAU:
Stunningly beautiful ... that's just one way of summing up that amazing view of the city of Montego Bay from the hills of Reading Heights.
The Club at Reading Heights, as it is aptly named by its developers, is a multimillion-dollar real estate project under way and both locals and foreigners are being afforded the opportunity to own a piece of this property, which is slated to be an exclusive residential, resort-type, gated community.
An open house was held last Sunday which gave interested persons and potential buyers an opportunity to get a glimpse of the property, as well as get a first-hand view of the picturesque scenery that abounds. But don't just take our word for it ... see it for yourself.
With affordable prices, the project is geared to meet the needs of professionals and business executives. The package includes a private club membership and access to on-property amenities such as a clubhouse with meeting and entertainment facilities, a fitness centre, pool, tennis courts, playground, parks and commissary. Construction commences in 2011.
Real estate is primarily about location, and the developers are claiming that The Club at Reading Heights remains the best little piece of heaven remaining in Montego Bay, with each lot having a vantage view of the ocean, the entire city and, best of all, the Montego Freeport enveloped by lagoons and archipelagos.
Phase one
This is a 363-acre property, but the developers are releasing just about 50 lots for sale in Phase One, with others to hit the market over a period of time.
American property developer A.J. Dwoskin, executive director of Red Heights Jamaica Limited (RHJ), assumed full ownership of the property through a purchase agreement in 2007.
The Club at Reading Heights, through its parent company RHJ, will also be offering a preferred builders' programme, whereby architectural and builders' fees and construction costs will be fixed, based on a particular set of home plans, which are near completion. Construction of two preferred builder model houses is expected to commence this autumn.
