Sunday, July 11, saw friends and supporters of United States Congresswoman Yvette Clarke getting support from Gregory and Elaine Bryan at their home in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The fund-raiser was in support of the re-election of Clarke to the United States Congress.

Host Gregory Bryan introduced Una Clarke, mother of the Congresswoman, and she then introduced Yvette. During her speech, Congresswoman Clarke focused on issues surrounding immigration reform, education, health care and interests of the Caribbean region. Among the guests was Dr Winston Pryce, a paediatrician and long-time friend of Una and Yvette Clarke. He recently received an award in Washington DC for his work in the relief efforts in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

Music was provided by Norman Grant on steel pan.
