With three days to go before Jamaica’s decisive World Cup Qualifier against Curaçao, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is reporting a major surge in national support.

The JFF says that grandstand tickets are officially sold out stating that the response signals powerful momentum behind the Reggae Boyz.

"The nation is rising behind the Boyz,” JFF president Michael Ricketts says. “We’re overwhelmed and grateful for this journey, and we can’t wait to see all of Jamaica come out in support. We thank everyone who has already secured their tickets and we encourage others to join us, and be part of something special. When the Stadium is full, the Boyz feel it. Jamaica feels it.”

The JFF is again urging patrons to wear yellow, the colour of hope, strength and renewal and to bring a canned food item to support the Federation’s ongoing Hurricane Melissa relief programme. Donation bins will be available at the venue entrance.

As part of the build-up, the JFF has also announced a special pre-game show starting at 5 p.m., headlined by recording artiste Chris Malachi, whose breakout anthem Brighter Days has become a rallying soundtrack of hope in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. The show will also include the celebrated Renaissance Disco

The JFF says although grandstand seats are now fully sold out, Bleachers Premium, VIP and Skyline are still available.

The JFF is encouraging fans to secure the remaining ticket categories quickly, noting that demand is rising across all zones as anticipation builds.

“This is shaping up to be a historic night,” Ricketts adds. “We want every Jamaican who can be there to come out, wear yellow and add their voice to the roar that will carry the team over the line. Moments like these do not come often.”

Tuesday’s fixture against Curaçao will decide the automatic qualifier for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Reggae Boyz will need a win if they are to advance, while Curaçao will advance if they avoid defeat.

The game at the National Stadium begins at 8 p.m.
