#TRIALS2023 |More disqualifications, Ackeem Blake leads all qualifiers through to men’s 100m final
There was disappointment for Julian Forte, who was disqualified for a false start in the men’s 100 metres semi-final at the National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.
Also out is the fastest qualifier to those semifinals, Kishane Thompson, who failed to face the starter.
In the meantime, Ackeem Blake’s 10.21 seconds in semi-final two marks the fastest qualifying time through to tonight’s final. Oblique Seville finished second in that heat in 10.23, while Kadrian Goldson was third in 10.26.
In the first semi-final, Ryiem Forde crossed the tape first in 10.26 ahead of Rohan Watson in 10.26 and Jelani Walker, who finished third in 10.28.
The complete list for the men’s 100m final reads Blake, Forde, Seville, Goldson, Watson, Walker, Michael Campbell and Tyquendo Tracey.
