PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, USA:

Edwin Allen High ended their campaign without a win, as competing in their third final of the three-day Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America, they finished the high school girls’ Championship of America 4x800 metres relay in second.

Edwin Allen completed the race in 8:58.83 minutes, with favourites before the start of the relay carnival, Union Catholic from New Jersey, scoring a runaway victory in 8:44.98.
