All JPL matches postponed this weekend, Monday
Organisers of the Jamaica Premier League football competition say that all matches set to be played this weekend have been postponed.
This follows Prime Minister Andrew Holness' announcement in a press conference on Thursday evening of stricture curfews to fight the spread of COVID-19 on the island.
Two matches were set for Saturday with Dunbeholden meeting Humble Lion at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence at noon, followed by Cavalier versus Mount Pleasant at 2:30 p.m.
Harbour View versus Molynes United would have been the lone game at the same venue on Sunday at 10 a.m., and Monday would have seen Vere United facing Tivoli Gardens at 1 p.m., then Waterhouse playing Arnett Gardens at 3:30 p.m. at the same venue.
