Man charged for break-in at gas station in Manchester

A man has been charged for breaking into a gas station in Manchester.

Charged with house breaking and larceny is 36-year-old Joseph Spencer.

His court date is being finalised.

Reports from the Mandeville police are that on Saturday, January 24, a worker arrived at the gas station, which is located along Main Street in Mandeville, and discovered that the front glass of the establishment was broken.

CCTV footage was reviewed, and Spencer was observed breaking the glass, then entering the building, and stealing gear oil, according to the police.

The matter was reported to the police, and Spencer was subsequently apprehended and charged.
