Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is reporting that the system used to validate driver’s licences is currently offline.

As a result, several related services are temporarily unavailable, both online and at tax offices.

Affected services include driver’s licence payments, traffic ticket payments, and the processing and payment of private motor vehicle registrations.

In-office services such as driver’s licence processing and payment, as well as traffic ticket payments, are also impacted.

Customers are advised, however, that motor vehicle registration services remain available in office.

TAJ says it regrets any inconvenience this temporary disruption may cause and assures customers that the authority is actively working with its service provider to restore full service in the shortest possible time.
