Police search for body after severed head found in St Thomas

The St Thomas police are searching for the body of a man after a severed head was discovered in the parish on Friday.
The death investigation was launched following the gruesome find in an area known as Peggy Mouth in Friendship Pen, St Thomas, in the parish.
It's reported that at about 9:15 a.m., a fisherman observed a bag in the area and on checking it, found an adult male head inside.
The matter was reported to the police, and a search was immediately launched.
However, the body has not yet been located.
The Morant Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting investigations into the matter.
