St Elizabeth mother and child found
Fourteen-year-old Kenalya Burton, otherwise called ‘Kay Kay’, and her 10- month-old daughter Kiera Burton, otherwise called ‘Blessing’, both of Pepper district, St Elizabeth, who were reported missing on Sunday have returned home.
The police say they are said to be in good health.
The Santa Cruz police had said Kenalya and Kiera were last seen at home around 10:45 a.m.
Head of the St Elizabeth Police Division Superintendent Coleridge Minto confirmed that they were located in Mandeville, Manchester on Monday.
He said they were found in the company of two other 14-year-old students, who were also reported missing from Manchester.
Burton and her daughter were handed over to the Santa Cruz police and later released in the custody of her guardians.
The matter is also before the court.
